On Wednesday, May 20 from 6-8pm, Warwick's is proud to co-host a very special cooking class and book signing with renowned chef, Isabel Cruz at her Pacific Beach restaurant, Isabel's Cantina (966 Felspar St., Pacific Beach). **Please note: we are now into a waiting list for this event. Stumped for that perfect Mother's Day gift, or perhaps even an early Father's Day or graduation gift? Warwick's can help with this unique event with renowned San Diego chef, Isabel Cruz. Isabel, owner of five trendy and popular West Coast, Latin-inspired restaurants (La Jolla's The Coffee Cup, PB's Isabel's Cantina and the Seaside Cantina, Isabel Pearl in Portland, OR, and Dragonfly in Ashland, OR), has graciously agreed to share her cooking secrets in a very special class that she herself will teach at Isabel's Cantina in Pacific Beach.

The bargain $60 package includes hands-on cooking instruction in Isabel's kitchen, where you will create homemade corn sopes and tamales, marinated carnitas or grilled chicken, and an assortment of festive salsas. While waiting for the tamales to steam, enjoy some homemade sangria, or prepare delicious chipotle chocolate tamale dessert. And of course, what is a cooking class without a tasting? But that's not all! We wouldn't dream of letting you depart without a signed copy of Isabel's cookbook, Isabel's Cantina: Bold Latin Flavors From the New California Kitchen, so you can go home and share all the delicious recipes you've learned with your family!
